Months have passed since the launching of the CUSP cluster in June 2021. And while we are progressing in our understanding of the problem, much still remains to be discussed.
In a half-day public workshop being organized by Imptox on March 28, 2022, scientists from a diverse range of fields including biochemistry, food science, biotechnology, toxicology, risk assessment, and more will expose the status-quo of their current research on micro- and nanoplastics pollution. The meeting will also feature invited speakers from other EU-supported science initiatives to see how we all could possibly benefit from further research collaborations. An interactive discussion where the audience will be invited to participate with questions and comments will close the gathering.
Registration for this first Imptox public workshop titled “Scientific perspectives on the health impacts of micro- and nanoplastics: an open discussion” will take place on March 28, 2022, 9:00 – 13:15 CET online via Zoom.
